Techhead Interactive have backed WorldRiderZ with the technology and support that will see a man “Stephane Etienne” and his team on a mission to ride KTM 990 motorcycles from Sydney to Paris and raise as much funds as possible for research into childhood kidney disease. The WorldRiderZ team will depart from the Sydney Children’s Hospital on Saturday 24 July, 2010 at 9:00am.

Peter Short competed in the 2010 Ironman New Zealand to raise funds for the Day of Difference Foundation. The Day of Difference Foundation is a charitable organisation dedicated to working for critically injured children and their families. Throughout Australia over 60,000 children are seriously injured each year.

Collaroy Surf Life Saving club hosted its annual Golf Day on Friday 8th of January 2010 at MonaVale Golf Club to raise vital funds required to support the club in its daily operations. Collaroy Surf Life Saving Club need to raise much needed funds to ensure that the clubs lifesaving equipment is of the highest standard so that the club can ensure that the surfing public is well and truly protected.

Each year around 100,000 people across the country pledge to shave or colour their hair to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation. Money raised will care for patients and families living with Leukemia’s, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders.
